Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup Review

Hello!

Before I get into the review, I want to make a disclaimer that I was using my Dior sunscreen with it (in fact, I've only ever used it with Dior), and in my experience, Dior sunscreen has the tendency to make foundations apply better, and look better and more glowy.

So a long time ago I already reviewed this foundation on my Instagram
Herro 👋 let's talk about a new foundation I've been trying out 😄 Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup. It's what I'm wearing today but iPhone 4's front camera's quality is shit so you can't really see it anyway 😆 when I first tested it out I wasn't sure if it was breaking me out, but I was also testing out other products at the time. Now my skin is clear so I can say it doesn't 😄 the most impressive thing abt this foundation is how weightless it really is-- it really feels like my skin! Prob the lightest weight liquid foundation I've ever tried. I love the finish-- super super natural (light coverage). I usually don't like super liquidy foundations bcuz it tends to emphasize dry patches (I usually prefer a bit of creaminess) but this one doesn't 👌 doesn't make me oily and wears well. Really, I have a super positive experience with this foundation... Me likey 👍 the only downside is it smells horrible... But the smell dissipates quickly. It's a really good foundation that I'm totally willing to overlook this little flaw 🙈 I've tried shades 2.0 and 3.0 and honestly they both work... 2.0 makes me look a bit pale but matches my neck better (my face is darker than my neck now 😓) 3.0 leans just a tiny bit orange. Both shades are fine really 😆 #urbandecay #beautyblogger #bblogger #instareview #nakedfoundation #skinfoundation #foundationreview #makeup #cosmetics

I think this foundation is worth its own blog post xD

This shade is 3.0. Like I mentioned, 2.0 works fine too. This foundation is light coverage enough that as long as you just use a light hand, I don't think 2.0 and 3.0 makes that huge of a difference for NC20.

Can you tell it's super watery/liquidy?

SAM_1587
Super runny foundation

SAM_1590
It's very thin and light

Blended

The application actually kind of reminds me of MAC Face & Body foundation-- it thickens up ever so slightly when blended in. However, it has more coverage than F&B, finish is more semi-matte, and is not sticky.

I think for a very liquidy foundation, I'm impressed that it doesn't emphasize dryness/lines.

Like I mentioned... the Dior sunscreen did have an impact on the finish O_O Sorry I don't know how this foundation would look on its own-- it's not like I would ever go out without wearing sunscreen, so for me it's impractical to test out a foundation on its own.

Haha I look so stupid here. But couldn't crop out my eyes without cropping out most of my face xD

Maybe just think about this foundation looking less glowy lol

This kind of glow is 100% from the Dior sunscreen lol. Not an effect from the foundation itself.

Conclusion:

Not much to add to my Instagram review. I think it's a great foundation. I'd really like to add it to my collection but I already have so many liquid foundations LOL. And let's face it my Dior sunscreen kind of gives similar finish to all of my foundations anyway... now I'm starting to feel maybe there's no need to go try all the foundations out there LOL (although I'm still tempted to).

Foundations these days are so expensive (or I guess just makeup in general...), if you're looking for a mid-range brand foundation, I think this is a good one to start with :)
