Things I think worth checking out for Sephora VIB sale

Hello readers!

How's everyone doing??? Hope you guys are doing well. Brief explanation of my absence lol! Took some time off blogging cuz I had to take two licensing exams (pending test results) then I had to move yadi-yadi-ya. Basically the same reasons why I'm always on and off with blogging for years haha. Since the Sephora VIB sale is around the block (11/13-11/16. I believe the VIB Rouge sale is going on right now but I ain't Rouge lol), thought I'd come up here and share the products that I think are worth checking out =)

Before going into specific items, just want to say this is the BEST time to take advantage on stocking up on your skincare/makeup old faithfuls! Sephora VIB sale is the only sale I know that doesn't have any exclusions. In addition to skincare, it's also a great time to buy your favorite perfume =) and beautyblenders, makeup brushes... any luxurious items you won't normally splurge on really. Great time to buy high end lipsticks XD (Dior and YSL anyone??) Also I want to bring to your attention that Sephora now carries Burberry (and along with Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana... which are old news) so if you're interested in these brands, now is the time ;)

On to the items I found interesting/worthwhile:

1. Sephora Favorites-- Superstars
s1736339-main-hero-300
I can see myself using everything in this box except for that Urban Decay eye shadow ("Lounge"). The Lancome eyeliner probably won't be any use to me but I could always use that to replace black eye shadow to smudge over my liquid eyeliner. The Stila eyeliner I can use to tightline (doesn't work as an eyeliner on me-- major running). Smashbox Primer Water-- can never have too many setting sprays =D especially I wear powder foundation all the time. NARS eye shadow ("Himalia") is a nice neutral eye shadow you can just wear on its own. The Clinique Chubbi stick highlighter is very pretty. Definitely something I can see myself using. The same goes to the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Highlight. Already done a review on Benefit They're Real mascara. I've been quite curious about the MUFF hydrating primer even though hydrating primer isn't usually what I'd go for (although I'm very happy with my Diorsnow sunscreen which for me is sunscreen+primer in one so I'm not in the market for a primer at all). Never heard of Touch in Sol Stretchex Stretch Lash Effect Mascara but I'd never say no to trying  out new mascaras lol! The Tarte contour stick is a nice shade, and the little brush that comes with it seems very nice as well. Overall I think this is a great value set that allows you to try out a number of great stuff. I'm super interested in this set but the UD eye shadow and the Lancome pencil liner are holding me back (not to mention I don't need another highlighter hahaha).

2. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit

Not something I'm interested in but wanted to let you guys know about this regardless cuz I think it's a good set. Personally think the Ambiet Lighting blushes are AMAZING, but the face powders made me so oily so I'm staying away from them. They do make your face look incredibly soft and beautiful though. Talked about it in detail here if you want to check it. PS: the size of this palette is a little bigger than my palm.

3. Bite Beauty Best Bite Rewind
s1751262-main-hero-300
Not super into Bite Beauty but did swatch these colors in store and thought they were pretty. Actually now that I read the product description, they're from the matte creme lip crayon line, which I hated hahaha. So never mind, not something I'm interested in anymore hahaha that's why I crossed it out. Didn't want to take it out of the post cuz I was too lazy to renumber my items LOL. I've only done three posts on Bite Beauty, you can check it under the Bite Beauty label. Or for your convenience, linked here.

4. Tarte Bling It On Amazonian Clay Blush Palette
s1725209-main-hero-300
Thought this is an incredible value set, and the colors are super nice! I've wanted "doll face" for quite a while now and this palette has it =D But I'm on the fence since I feel like I'm always buying the same blush colors over and over again HAHAH. You know, subtle differences, but no one can ever tell.

5. Viseart Eyeshadow Palette in 01 Neutral Matte
s1665629-main-hero-300
Been eyeing this palette for a while now ever since Claire Marshall talked about it. All of the shades are right up my alley. AND THEY ARE ALL IN ONE PALETTE. Part of me knows I don't need another eye shadow palette, part of me wants to get rid of my MAC eye shadow palettes and just have this in my collection instead. Kind of a bummer this is online only... I'd really like to see it in person to make sure I like the shades.

6. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Ethereal Glow
s1581305-main-zoom

Been lusting for this for a longgg time. Same reason why I'm still holding back on this blush... I don't need one giant blush that I can never use up lol. AND I'm always buying the same shade (cool pink). HAHAHA.

7. Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick in Primrose
s1387232-main-hero-300

Even though I love Dior and YSL lipsticks/glossy stains... thought I'd like to branch out. Tried this and the shade below and really liked them. Not sure if I want to splurge yet cuz over the last few years I discovered so many amazing drugstore lipsticks (mostly Korean/Japanese brands).

8. Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick in Posy Pink

Now onto things I will probably get

1. Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil
s1681881-main-hero-300

Worth the hype lol. I think the most amazing thing about this product is that while it renews/lightens the skin/hyperpigmentation, it does so without drying out your skin/making it peel. I like =) I don't use it often but when I do it's a very nice treat. 20% off on this is A LOT!!

2. Origins GinZing Energy-Boosting Moisturizer
s1521327-main-hero-300
Since the GinZing eye cream works so well depuffing my eyes, thought this would be good for depuffing my face in the morning? XD

3. Philosophy Resurface The Microdelivery Dual-Phase Peel
s779983-main-hero-300

My cousin raved about it and basically trying to talk me into trying it haha. Think I will. My skin can use some brightening =)

4. Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist
s1133990-main-hero-300
Seems excessive to dish out on a mist... but I've been dreaming about it ever since I tried it. It's the most amazing, intoxicating rose scent. It can double up as a toner too I guess haha.

5. Anastasia Beverly Hills Tweezer
s765172-main-hero-300
My current tweezer I think is 5 years old... still works but I think it's time to get a new one. I mean if you think about it... $28 for 5 years... not bad.

That's all =) What you guys getting for the Rouge/VIB/BI sale??

<3 Frances
