"Cheap" Urban Outfitters Finds =)

Hallo Bloggies! =D

LOL I realized I haven't done a OOTD post in so long, but that's because I hadn't shopped for clothes in FOREVER and I'm glad that I did purchase a few items over the past few weeks :D

Here's my clothing haul from Urban Outfitters (all the stuff I bought were on sale XD muahaha. I am willing to spend a lot on makeup because those are to be used on my face regularly. Not for clothes, though. My style changes ALL the time I figured it's not worth the money... unless it's something classic/key item)

They're just some basic T's... I wanted to buy some clothes that I don't have to think about... throw on and go you know =D (although I love fashion I rarely spend time dressing or following trends.... haha)

They're not cheap "cheap," but they were on sale XD like half original price =D

Photobucket
lol I don't know but I think this is super adorable
Photobucket
panda shirt =D but why is there an "X"? =((
Photobucket
peacock shirt haha! I didn't even like the print I just grabbed it cuz it was like $9... but surprisingly it fit me pretty well
Photobucket
I don't have any purple shirts! I think the color is lovely and warm :)
Photobucket
I think this is such a pretty pale pink :) (don't know what happened to the flash? excuse the lighting =T)

Photobucket
Okay this is the only item I bought with original price. It was an impulsive purchase XD but I don't regret it it goes great with a lot of stuff =) definitely will go well with most of the shirts I bought

Here's the scarf on me =)
Photobucket
As well as one of the shirts XD

Photobucket
Haha I know I haven't showed my face in a while (my vids were all filmed quite a while ago XD) and already my bangs are not straight anymore =T went back to side-swept lol

Photobucket

Photobucket
Lol I just realized I'm always buying summer stuff in the winter and winter things in the summer... haha

Lately I've been replacing my love for F21 with Urban Outfitters... I don't know I feel like F21 has a very disappointing collection this fall/winter.

Where do you guys usually shop for clothes?

Mini Sephora Haul

Hiya bloggies!

So today I have a little haul to share with you guys. I took advantage of the VIB 20% off at Sephora a little while back and purchased a few things ^__^

By the way, Sephora let me return the Dior tinted moisturizer without a receipt O_O (I decided I really don't like it much at all lol!) I was like woahh really?! I got store credit instead. Thank you Sephora for your generous return policy mT___Tm

Moving on! XD

1. Sephora NAILS nail polish remover
Photobucket
Price: $9 for 4.22 fl.oz. (they also have a smaller size, as well as a travel one)

I bought this because I read from a fellow blogger that this nail polish remover is very gentle and moisturizing, and I had been using this crap nail polish remover that I bought at the drugstore that really stings and dries out my cuticles, so I decided to give this a try :)

- acetone free (although still smells like acetone to me for some reason...) with added vitamin E and macadamia oil
- doesn't dry out my hands :) might be a bit oily for some ppl though
- very gentle, perhaps take a second or more to remove nail polishes than other acetone-containing products, but it does the job so I don't mind it (it stings if you have a wound.... obviously... still chemicals lol).
- I really like it :)

2. Anastasia Tweezer
Photobucket
Price: $28
Photobucket
I keep the plastic cap thing to protect the tweezers. The SA warned me not to drop the tweezers because the metal part might bend or dull, so I figured it'd be safer to keep the cap on the tweezers at all times lol
Photobucket
Photobucket

Honestly I never thought I'd see the day where I'd spend soo much on a tweezer... but I'm so SICK and TIRED of buying cheap drugstore tweezers that only work 1 or 2 times before they become too dull to grasp fine, stray brow hairs. Ugh. The amount of tweezers I've gone through is probably worth 2 of this tweezer already, I decided it was time to invest in a good one.

- This tweezer is very sharp and works really really well even after many use. I love it :)

3. Givenchy Hot Couture Perfume
 Photobucket
Price varies from the size you get :)
Photobucket
Isn't it beautiful? XD
Photobucket
the ingredients... hopefully it'd make more sense to you guys than it does to me XD I'm not very good at describing scents

Description:
Notes: Raspberry Dew, Jasmine, Bergamot, White Musk.
Style: Confident. Flirtatious. Elegant. (I think it says it very well :P)

I've been lusting after this perfume ever since a good friend of mine showed me this XD it smells so amazing that I've been wearing it almost every day even if I'm just staying home XD just puts me in a really good mood when I smell it :)

I've been really liking musky scents lately :P to me, Hot Couture is sexy, sophisticated, yet young. (Although a friend who knows a lot more about perfume told me this scent to her is very very youthful XD)

Another perfume that I want to buy in the future will be the Chanel Chance in the pink bottle :P
Photobucket
I didn't buy it this time because the style of that perfume is more similar to all my other perfumes XD (on the sweet girly side haha) next time when there's a sale again XD

What are your favorite perfumes??? =DD

Dolly Wink launching eyeshadows/cream eyeshadows/mascara!! =D

Hello hello!

Haha this is my second post of the day, but I have quick exciting news  to share with you guys ^_________________^

Well exciting news for me anyway XD

Dolly Wink is launching 4 eyeshadow palettes, and two mascaras!!
I must say... I'm freaking excited for the mascaras!!!! Cannot wait for the day when I can finally lay my hands on these heehee >_<

**** Images taken from Dolly Wink official website****

Palette 1

Palette 2

Palette 3

Palette 4

I thought the last two palettes are a bit too similar in the color schemes... the only difference is one has pink and the other comes with orange

If I was purchasing the palettes, I'd probably get the first one (as boring as I am XD), the second and the last :) but of course I will only start out with one palette to test out the quality, since I found most drugstore eyeshadow less adhering and more chalky.

And two mascaras :) one for lengthening effects, the other for volumizing

I am most excited for these mascaras >__< not a big eyeshadow person haha. But I honestly think a girl can never have too many eyeliners or mascaras XD

Some extra pics of Tsubasa-san for all of you :)
Photobucket

Photobucket
I've grown to really like Tsubasa-san a lot ever since I started out using Dolly Wink, hehe (:

Lancome Genifique+ Lancome Pure Focus Matifying Toner Review

Hello everyone ^__^

Did everyone have a good Thanksgiving? Got anything for an awesome deal on black Friday? (haha I didn't go shopping cuz I'm just not into crowding in the malls... lol)

But anyway, here we are with another review today XD I'm almost done reviewing all the stuff I got in the last couple of months (whew!!!!) So anywayyyy...  I first heard of these two products from RaeView

Since both products are demonstrated in this video, I figured I'd combine the reviews. I don't have a whole lot to say anyway lol.

So first the Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate
Photobucket
- Price ($78 for 1 oz)
- I bought this on Gene's day so the donation would go to St. Jude Hospital
Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

My guy friend saw this and went: Youth activating concentrate? But you're still young! O_O
Me: well maybe that's why this product didn't work for me ╮(╯_╰)╭

So yeah, I have been using this for almost 2 months now, and I have seen absolutely no change in my complexion -___-

However let me just say I do have pretty good skin to start with, I bought this hoping it would even out my skin tone (reduce redness and freckles and whatnot). But yeah, that part of the plan failed miserably. I guess it means my skin's already at its best? XD

some highlights of this product:
- Absorbs SUPER quickly. Like SUPERRR quick!!!
- I did notice that my nose is less oily when I use this (the oils seep through slower)
- the cap never screws on tightly! for some reason it'd loosen up... kind of bugs me

That's about all I can say about this product >_< I'm sorry I can't provide much... to me this product is overrated. Definitely won't repurchase.

I would totally return this product and just go donate $7 on St. Jude's Hospital's website, however on the day of the purchase, the sales ppl made a mistake and tried to charge me $80+  for a bottle. I insisted that I did my research and was pretty sure it was $78... after I walked away they called me and told me the price labels had been misplaced O_O (I was like omg I feel sorry for the ppl who bought the product at the wrong price that day...) so they gave me a bunch of free gifts as their apology...
Photobucket
So I decided not to return it for the good customer service O_O

They gave me...
- a day time moisturizer (which is very light-weighted and non-greasy, I like it)
- body lotion for very dry skin (I had some dry patches on my back and it really helped, however I'm not loving it? Not sure why... maybe it's because it's not the body lotion that gives you that instant relief?)
- a renergie microlift thingy (the purple one) which I haven't used
- the famous bi-facil eye/lip makeup remover
- Definicils sample mascara
- sample powder blush in "Shimmer Mocha Havana"
Photobucket
it looks very tan but it suits my skin tone very well and gives a very nice neutral flush, which I like a lot :)

- Color Design cream formula lipstick in "Love It!"
Photobucket
The color in the photo is not representative of the color in person... it's much lighter and looks more pink.
Photobucket
it's a very nice neutral/nude pink, which I think is great for daily wear or for work. I really like the formula as well, it doesn't make my lips flake :)

They also gave me the 7 day sample
Photobucket
Photobucket
Which I'm saving for traveling (:

Okay now onto the Pure Focus Oil Control Matifying Toner

I haven't used a toner for years and I decided to get one :P I got this cuz like Rae, I have combination skin, and I really want to keep my the oil on my nose under control O_O

Photobucket
This product usually has white settlement which needs to be shook up before use.
Price: $24.50 for 6.8 oz.

A little bit of info on my skin...
I have combination skin-- Dry cheeks, forehead, chin. SUPER oily nose O_O just nose, not T-zone...
Let me tell you how oily my nose is... after washing my face/applying moisturizer, I can see little beads of oil sitting on top of my nose... GROSS! XD

So onto the product
- Doesn't work for me -__- my nose is still super oily. Have been using this for two months and saw no improvement in oil control
- However I noticed if I use this all over my face, it would break me out on the "dry" part of my face, so I only use this on my nose
- leaves a tingling, cooling feeling, which I like.
- Will I repurchase it? Nope! lol

That's all I have for you guys! Sorry it's not that informative... but that's because I honestly don't have much to say. So overall... not the most exciting purchase from Lancome.

I hope some of you find this helpful!

Take care everybody!

Hello Everyone ^__^

Heehee I decided it's the best time to do this blog award, since today's the day to be thankful :) I don't really celebrate Thanksgiving, but I like the meaning of the Holiday (minus the eating turkey part... why turkey?! not corn or potatoes?! it makes me sad thinking about the suffering turkeys at the turkey farms T__T) But anyway, I hope you guys have a wonderful time celebrating with your families :)

Before I move onto the blog award, I want to thank you all for your love for me and my blog =) Seriously.
