Black Swan Inspired Makeup Look =)

Hey guys!

So today I did Black Swan look =DDD I know Halloween's over, but I don't care XD


The look is from the movie Black Swan, but I was actually inspired by Bunnycakez ^__^
For some reason I was never really that into the Black Swan makeup even though there were so many gurus recreating the look... but I saw Bunnycakez's recreation of the look and I was intrigued by how cute it looks on her ^____________^  Thank you Bunnycakez for inspiring me ^_^ <3

Again I got a little bit too picture-happy XD It was very last minute, I was bored and sort of just was itching to do it all of a sudden XD it was very rough but I'm very happy with it ^_^ could've sharpen the look up with liquid eyeliner but I didn't want to waste my precious liquid eyeliners XD




and of course... I had no idea what to wear to complete the look -__-;; so in my usual tank top XD tank tops FTW!! XD

My latest skin care obsession= chocolate yogurt mask =D

Hey guys ^_^

Today I want to share another thing with you... which is my latest skincare obsession =D


lol haven't showed my naked face in a while =P

So lately I've been noticing that my pores have been getting bigger O_O reason? It's simple: because the heater has been drying out my skin!

I do leave a cup of water in my room to have a little bit of moisture, but it's just not enough because it's been getting so cold and we turn the heater up like crazy.

I usually like to use plain yogurt mask or oatmeal yogurt mask, but I wanted something more hydrating, so I decided to give this DIY mask another go =)

I did try this mask when Bubbi first uploaded this mask, but I thought it was just okay at that time. For some reason, my skin really doesn't like honey =_= every time I put honey in my DIY mask, my skin seems to absorb less.

So anyway since I have all that coco powder sitting around I thought I'd give it ago, this time just using my favorite yogurt from Stonyfield and Hershey's cocoa powder =) and ohmygosh, I LOVE it! it does give that extra hydration <3 <3 <3




it contains antioxidants!! lol! Cocoa is supposed to be really good for you... minus all that sugar that usually accompanies most cocoa products lol!

I like to put a lot of cocoa powder in my yogurt, mix them up real well, put it in the fridge then go shower. After I'm all clean I would apply the mask to my whole face. It's interesting though cuz the cocoa powder does change the yogurt into a more whipped texture that reminds me of mousse????






leave it on for about 25-30 minutes.

Results are happy, hydrated,  and may I say, radiant skin =D  (haha I think so! too shameless? XD)

My skin is naturally a bit pink-toned compared to the rest of my body










Anyway my skin has never felt better at the moment =D My skin tone has been more even than ever as long as I can remember (not just because of this mask, but it's a gradual process of eliminating anything that might aggravate my skin. For example, I stopped using any clay masks which is definitely the culprit that contributed to the redness of my skin). It's still a bit pink but that's just how my skin naturally is =)

I hope you guys give it a go ^_^ Especially if your skin is dried out and it seems like no matter how much moisturizer you put on your skin is still dry. I have been using this mask non stop for a week now =D lol but I'm gonna let my skin take a break from it and stop using it every day.

Aren't these SO awesome?! I really really like the disco one at 00:31, and the one at 00:54... so gorgeous! (reminds me of Christina Aguilera =P) 1:01 is so gorgeous too... also 1:27 dark smokey eye and pink lips I want to try that look now =D  and I love love LOVe the stud and spike look at 3:47... so glam and pretty! Maybe I will try to recreate them somehow? =P LOL okay I pretty much love all of them XD

Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Face Cleanser

I'm excited to finally purchase this cleanser! I got a sample size of this cleanser earlier this year and I remember hating it when I first used it. It doesn't lather or anything, it just feels like rubbing some thick liquid on my face, and you all know I love cleansers that give denser lather. And really my skin was really normal before so I couldn't tell if it was doing anything to my skin. So anyway I put it away and never used it again. However two months ago my skin suffered an allergic break out, it wasn't as bad as it could've been (I used yogurt like crazy!!! And Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Advanced Face Serum helped calm my skin down too) but it was very sensitive and itchy, so I wanted to use something really gentle cuz I noticed every time after I cleanse my face my break out spot became really red, swollen and irritated. I did use oatmeal to wash my face and it did help, but at the same time I wanted maybe something more calming. So I dug out this cleanser... and it helped calm down my skin, A LOT. So even though I hate it doesn't lather, I still think this is a really good cleanser ^_^


I'm not short on skin care because I have so many samples XD but I'm running low on real sized products. So I thought this is a good time to stock up ^_^ I asked my friend what she bought for her Sephora discount and she recommended this to me. She doesn't even have oily skin but she said it has worked for her since high school. So I'm excited to try this out ^_^

I've been DYING to try this BB cream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >____< ever since I saw Eki use it in her Alice in Wonderland tutorial. She did a review on this BB cream as well :)
It looks so thin and amazing!!! but it's SO expensive. And it doesn't contain SPF =( I do have a full size SKIN79 BB cream so I'm gonna finish that first before I move onto other BB creams *determined*


Hahaha omg that was SUCH a long list. I feel like such a makeup whore. LOL.
