May 2013 Empties and Mini Reviews

1. Shu Uemura Skin Purifier cleansing oil
SAM_4174_zps05ad5f9b
I stocked up on this before Shu was pulled out of the US. This was my last bottle =/ I really enjoyed it but I think I will just go back to cheaper alternatives like MAC =P

2. Essential Nuance Airy conditioner
SAM_4175_zps432c8fdd
At first I was in love because it was SO conditioning. But after a few weeks I discovered that this was pretty much the worst residue-causing conditioner ever. In the end I only used this on the ends of my hair so it kind of worked out (plus I discovered an anti-residue shampoo which also helped). I'm glad I tried it and I know I won't be repurchasing.

3. Hada Labo toner and moisturizer
SAM_4176_zps0139682e
I think a lot of people will probably want to strangle me for saying this: I think these are overrated products. All I ever feel from these products is how sticky they are. I feel like these products don't absorb well so they kind of just sit on top of my skin. In theory hyaluronic acid is supposed to be extremely moisturizing, but I don't find these particular products all that moisturizing at all (I suspect the molecules are too big... who knows). The only reason why I even finished these is because I was using them on my body not my face -_-at best I'd say these are nice but not worth the hype.

4. Aveda Foot Relief
SAM_4177_zps85e30b06
I really enjoyed it while it lasted. But I don't think I want to spend so much money on body lotions anymore =P By the way it smells like mint... hmm I'm not sure why I thought this is an important detail to disclose XD

5. Origins Mega Mushroom Skin Relief Face Cleanser
SAM_4178_zpsb7abc7b4
This is one of the few skincare items that is on my holy grail list. My face has been reacting to some unknown cause (maybe changing of the weather??) so I've been using this a lot to calm my skin down. Already using another one and have another backup XD

6. OleHenriksen Sheer Transformation and Truth Serum (Collagen booster with vitamin C complex)
SAM_4180_zpsfa5e22a6
The sheer transformation is alright, it's a creamy texture but surprisingly not too rich. It's nothing too outstanding but a nice one (although I did hate how it was in a jar; I wish it came in a bottle with a pump).

The truth serum is a little bit sticky. Sometimes I just used it alone without additional moisturizer because I found it alone is enough. Although it does brighten up my face, I really question if it actually contains vitamin C complex in there, because if it really were vitamin C, then the bottle should be brown to keep out light and prevent the vitamin C from oxidizing. Even though I didn't trust what was in the bottle, it didn't break me out, so I just used it up anyway XD

7. Za Foaming Cleanser
SAM_4232_zpsee0d42ad
Sorry for the dirty bottle XD
SAM_4233_zps06808d32
I really enjoyed this cleanser! It smells amazing and gives really dense and amazing lather. It made my face squeaky clean without drying it out too much =P the only thing I didn't like about this cleanser is that it contains these large blue beads (as shown in the pic above) that DO NOT disintegrate. Like seriously. I had to massage and massage and massage before the beads break down. However this was really minor and it didn't change the fact it was a great drugstore cleanser. I'd recommend if you could purchase this for cheap =)  As to if I will repurchase? Probably not, but that's only because the drugstore cleanser I'm using after this is even more amazing XD so I will be repurchasing that one LOL.

PS: Since it makes my face squeaky clean, it probably isn't the most gentle (certainly isn't especially with the blue beads). So don't purchase if you are aiming for gentle and tender cleansing =P

8. Kiehl's Lip Balm
SAM_4285_zps7684c44f
A friend recommended this to me. I went home, tried it, and was like this feels exactly like vaseline? Then I turned it over and looked at the ingredient... and gosh I wanted to faint -__-
SAM_4287_zpse9a7a64f
See this my friends, this is just petrolatum =____________= aka vaseline. I can't believe I spent $9 some dollars on this crap. Friends, please do not waste your money on this! Even the packaging is crap... the applicator is the worst of the worst; I have to get the product onto my finger first before I apply it. Because directly using the applicator on my lips hurt -.-

Those are the products I used up over the last few months. Hope you guys enjoyed =)

Michael Todd Skincare Review + Belated Sephora Haul + Wen Cleansing Conditioner Review

Hi guys!

*guilty grin*

I think this is the longest I've been without blogging. Did anybody miss me? XD hahahaha (or actually... do you guys even remember my existence... 囧). Anyway I'm enjoying my summer vacation for now before I start my one-month rotation, so I thought I'd come up here and just write about stuff. Instead of writing another longggg ass post, I decided to be good and section it into different posts. So hopefully I'll be posting a little more frequently in the next few weeks :D

Looking at the notes from my old drafts =_= I saw that I planned to write about the Sephora Chic week sale (yeah... that was like forever ago. I sowee XD). So here's my SUPREMELY BELATED haul from Sephora XD

As I mentioned in that last post, I purchased the Wen cleansing conditioner (16 oz) in Fig, and the Benefit Hervana blush.
SAM_4132_zps96129e31

SAM_4128_zpsaa4ebd8e

SAM_4129_zps3a986221
This is a really nice everyday kind of blush. Pretty much goes with anything. However I haven't got as much use out of it as I had anticipated... I purchased a drugstore blush right after this and pretty much have been reaching for that 囧. I will talk about that in another post. Nonetheless I do like this blush and it is super easy to use.

After I tried out the Wen conditioner, I decided I like it and was curious to try out more Wen products, so I also went into the store and picked up the Wen Healthy Hair Care Kit.
 photo SAM_4136_zps3818ea09.jpg

In addition, because the Michael Todd products didn't work out for me as I had hoped, I also picked up a Shiseido Matifying Lotion to serve as my summer moisturizer.

SAM_4131_zpsfa4b1d45
I have used up a 1 oz bottle last summer, so I can safely say this is definitely my favorite light moisturizer for the summer and I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for an ultra light moisturizer ^_^

So before I get into the Wen products, let me tell you guys why the Michael Todd products didn't work out for me (click here to see the haul):

1. Citrus Cream Moisturizer with DMAE and hyaluronic acid
SAM_4064_zpsaa1d9947

SAM_4065_zpsaa93b3e9
At first this moisturizer seemed okay (apart from the fact I really disliked the smell), but after using it for a few weeks, I noticed it seemed to give me those little fat bumps/deposits on my face... I have no idea what they're called. You guys know what I'm talking about right? So I stopped using it, and my skin went back to normal. This moisturizer for me is definitely on the richer side and suitable for the winter.

2. Moisture Lite non-oily hydrating lotion
SAM_4061_zpscca8b9f5

So I intended to use this as my summer moisturizer but it totally did not go as planned. Too rich. Compared to the Citrus Cream it is slightly lighter in consistency, but not any lighter in the content I guess. That was the first problem. Second problem: I used this every day for a week and every day I got a new breakout. It wasn't anything bad, just tiny breakouts. My skin definitely does not agree with this moisturizer. Other than that the scent is so much better than the Citrus Cream. I feel like Michael Todd products are designed for people with dry skin needs.

3. Pumpkin nutrient-rich facial mask
SAM_4066_zpse2a11260

SAM_4068_zps160e3db1
I've only used this once but it stung when I applied it. My face felt really warm while the mask sat on my face. It didn't burn my face or break me out and my face wasn't red after using this mask, but I can't say the experience was entirely pleasant. It almost felt like the mask is spicy for my face?? That's the best way I can put it XD But my face did feel moisturized and soft after.

4. Jojoba Charcoal facial scrub
SAM_4069_zps49b8aac8

SAM_4070_zps521f599a
It's nice I guess. Nothing spectacular though. I don't find myself reaching for it at all (in fact I completely forgot I have this until now I'm writing about it -_-"). I do prefer my St. Ives green tea scrub-- it works just as well (plus the salicylic acid calms my face down when I feel like I'm about to break out). Although I think the scrub is nice, it's not something I'd go out of my way to purchase.

5. Honey and Oat gentle deep pore cleanser
SAM_4072_zps54e5297e
Sorry I don't have a swatch for this. I didn't want the cleanser to get all over the place.

Ehhh I'll admit I don't like liquid cleanser. The consistency of this cleanser reminds me of detergent. Other than that... nothing special to say about this cleanser except it's gentle?

6. Blue Green Algae antibacterial toner
SAM_4071_zpsfdba7e5d
No swatch again... just a toner XD

So the kit I bought is designed for normal/combination skin. I think this toner is what made this kit geared toward combination skin. It is VERY drying. After applying the toner, my skin feels so dry and tight. I actually did find it quite uncomfortable. Furthermore this toner stung going on. I still have to test out if it controls oil or not. If it does then I'll come back and update it. If not then you guys can safely assume it's nothing remarkable.

So the only Michael Todd product I haven't tried from my purchase is the eye cream. Not very excited about it anymore. But it will probably take me a while to get to the eye cream since I still have a few that I'm using now.

So these are my thoughts on the Michael Todd products that I own. So far, NOT impressed at all -_-" I can kind of see why a lot of Youtubers like them because of how moisturizing they are. But I honestly think they are overrated and I don't think I will try anything from them in a long time. What are your thoughts on Michael Todd products? Anyway, you can expect a blog sale from me pretty soon.

Now, onto the Wen hair products.

As you recall, I became interested in Wen after seeing Claire's video:

This is a very informative video and I think if you're interested in Wen as well, it will answer a lot of your questions.

I picked out the scent in fig
SAM_4127_zps64b46788
At first I thought the scent was kind of weird. But now I absolutely LOVE it. There's a very calming effect to it for some reason lol!

SAM_4134_zps17b92e5f

SAM_4135_zps5d4363c7

I use about 10-12 pumps for my hair (I don't have a lot of hair at all XD). And I don't leave it in as leave-in conditioner because I dry off my hair with a towel afterward and I think it's a waste if I just towel the conditioner off @_@ (I wash my hair at night and just let it air dry).

So my experience with Wen conditioner?

First thing I notice is how shiny my hair looks after using it. And my hair is usually straighter after using it (because it's very conditioned I guess?) Two days into using the cleansing conditioner my friend pointed out that my hair looks super shiny and glossy :D However 4 days into using it I noticed about 1/4 of the bottle is gone -_-||| So now I only use it once a week (I would run a hot bath and let the cleansing conditioner sit in my hair while I read to maximize the conditioning effect XD). It's simply too expensive for me to maintain this as my regular cleansing routine. However, even if I can afford it, I still won't be using it everyday-- although I noticed how luscious and voluminous and thick it made the mid and ends of my hair look, I noticed it made the top of my head look really flat. Definitely not greasy or heavy, just flat (like I said it made my hair straighter, which contributes to the flatness). A little weird because it makes the bottom part of my hair look so voluminous, but just not at my crown -_-a Also it detangles my hair really nicely, but I don't feel it makes my hair softer or anything. Another thing I don't like is I think because I have to really massage my scalp when I use this cleansing conditioner, I found that I lost even more hair while washing it X_X maybe I just massaged too hard?

From the Healthy Hair Care Kit (only Sweet Almond Mint is available), you get a 12 oz cleansing conditioner, and replenishing treatment mist, and a Re Moist intensive hair treatment.

SAM_4136_zps3818ea09

SAM_4126_zps6e36583a

SAM_4137_zps10969eee

SAM_4139_zps280bffcf

I think this kit is a great value if you want to test out some Wen products. So far I got a lot of use from the replenishing treatment mist-- I spray it from the mid shaft to the ends of my hair after toweling off most of the water from my hair. It keeps my hair detangled and conditioned (I feel like it's pretty much the cleansing conditioner in the liquid form, because it feels the same and it also doesn't make my hair soft). Not sure if I've mentioned this before but I don't really use any leave-in treatments because a lot of times my face would break out from the hair products. This treatment mist didn't break me out so I'm pretty happy about that =D

The Re Moist intensive hair treatment, like the name indicated, is a pretty intensive treatment. My hair does feel softer after using it. Other than that I don't have anything else to say about it? LOL.

I do enjoy all the Wen products I own, and I've placed another order to try out the lavender ones (I was told that one is good for volume). I will report back after I've tried that out ^_^

That's all I have to share for now! Sorry if this post is all over the place-- I haven't written a blog in forever haha. Anyway I hope some of you guys found this helpful. I will come back blogging again soon =D

Michael Todd Haul, New Kicks, Bloglovin', and Sephora Chic Week Wishlist ^_^

Hi guys!

Happy Saturday! ^_^ hope you guys have been doing well! Before I forget, I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm using Bloglovin' now. You can find the button on the right →→→→→→→→→→→→

I learned that the Google reader will be shutting down some time this summer (thanks Mandy, for letting me know ^_^) and after experiencing loads of glitches with my Google reader.... I decided to maybe it's time to use a different system. I'm really not used to Bloglovin'... yet. I don't know I can't follow some blogs from there (kept telling me the blog cannot be found... the f). So anyway! If you'd like to keep in touch with my blog, feel free to check it out :) or there's the e-mail subscription option too, or you can simply bookmark XD whatever floats your boat :3

So you might remember I'm on a skincare ban... and yes I'm still on it. But shockingly =_= I ran out of moisturizer!!!!!!! what the what?! I know... I thought I have SO much skincare that I probably don't have to buy anything for an entire year and there I was... no moisturizer!!! Well to be exact I have no "light" moisturizer. I still have some heavy duty products, but with the seasons changing, I needed something light to suit my needs, as I was starting to feel my skin getting dull and sluggish from all the heavy creams and lotions.

After hearing about Michael Todd from Raeview and Tanya, I decided to check out his line :3 which is pretty cool cuz I kind of ran out of brands I was interested in trying. Their recommendations came in just in time =D
 photo SAM_3838_zpscfc8b4a1.jpg
I got the travel size kit for normal/combination skin so I can try out more products. Each product is about 1 oz which is a pretty good size. (By the way guys I just realized there's a promotion now and the whole kit is only $19!!! WTF I paid $40 some dollars for it). The intensive eye cream is a free gift that comes with the kit so that's always welcome (bigger than I thought too... it's actually a full-sized product). I also purchased Moisture Lite light hydrating moisturizer that I can use for the summer.

 photo SAM_3844_zps7803f455.jpg

 photo SAM_3839_zps90cbb909.jpg
So far I've only tried the citrus cream moisturizer, and I have to say it's heavier than I thought (I thought for normal/combo it'd be a bit lighter). Extremely moisturizing which is really good, but I think more suitable for the winter. So I might have to switch to Moisture Lite soon because I don't think my skin needs this much at the moment. But I have to say I HATE the scent for the citrus cream moisturizer >_< I usually have a really high tolerance for organic smell... but to me this moisturizer doesn't even smell organic... smells like grandma's perfume >___< I don't know. Every time I apply it I go URGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! LOL.

Moving on, I bought myself a new pair of NIKEs a couple weeks ago >////<
 photo SAM_3871_zps5b74b7d8.jpg
These are the NIKE Free Run 3 :)

Not gonna lie they cost an arm and a leg... but since I've been working out very consistently for over a year now :D I figure I deserve them and they're worth the investment-- I have been doing a lot of high impact workout, after all. Originally  I was looking for something with a big "air bag" for cushioning (air bag?? lol), something like this. But after hearing that I wanted something that will help absorb the impact to spare my knees from all the stress, the salesperson recommended me these NIKE Free Run. He told me because the bottom have a lot of flex to it, it really helps spread the impact. After trying both Air Max and Free Run, I decided I agree with him, and Free Runs are easier on my knees-- I really don't know much about workout gears, but I feel like the Free Runs are so light that I land easier too, if that makes any sense.

 photo SAM_3869_zpsb3dcafb1.jpg

 photo SAM_3870_zps8d32891e.jpg
I got mine in 5.0. There are 3.0 and 4.0 as well. The lower the number the more flexible the soles are. Honestly 3.0 and 4.0 all felt very soft and comfortable to me and I liked them all XD but I decided on 5.0 simply because I thought they might be more durable... ahahahahahaha who the hell knows. I've been working out in them for the last few weeks and I must say I've been LOVING them. My knees feel so much better now (lol I have pretty weak knees to begin with). Probably my best purchase by far this year ^_^

And as you all are probably aware, Sephora is having the Chic Week 15% off sale from 4/11-4/22/13. And of course I couldn't resist placing an order... even though technically speaking I don't really need anything >_<

1. Benefit Hervana blush
 photo 9_zpscbb7628d.png
Been eyeing this blush for a while now. I've been really really into pink blushes lately O_O and just really want this addition to my collection lol!

2. Wen Cleansing Conditioner

 photo 10_zps03df7d36.png
I had wanted to try this ever since I saw this from ohhaiclaire's channel. Was gonna buy this on Amazon but realized Sephora carries it!! Yay!!!

Claire is my most recent discovery on Youtube/newest subscription. I've been unsubscribing from quite a few Youtubers so I was looking for new channels to watch. She kind of reminds me of Hollyannaeree with her no nonsense attitude ;) for me she kind of looks like Hollyannaeree+ Fashionista804.... anyone else think so??? LOL. Anyway I'm obsessed with her hair!!! So voluminous!!! I jelly T____________T too bad I'm so lazy with my hair so I'll never attempt the blow drying thing XD  But I've been trying to take better care of my hair lately (my hair has been falling out more than it used to since I lost weight... but I will talk about that more in another post) and this seems like something worth trying. Oh as a little update on the Clear shampoo... after using it for a while I can't feel any difference anymore (I stopped using my other shampoo and just used Clear alone just to test it out). My hair sort of returned to its previous dry and brittle self. And I might be experiencing some residue from the shampoo as well... although I'm not sure if that's from the shampoo or another new conditioner I'm using (but I only apply conditioner to the bottom half of my hair nowadays so I don't think it's that... but it's hard to tell. We'll see).

So those are the only two products I purchased. YEP I ONLY BOUGHT TWO. I AM SO EFFING PROUD OF MYSELF. XD Sighhhhh, my wish list is so long. Why am I so greedy?! Discipline is a bitch man >.<

1. Dior Addict Extreme Lipstick in Cherie Bow
 photo 6_zpsfdc30868.png
Saw Lisa Eldridge wearing this in her recent foundation course videos... such a pretty color >.< By the way the swatches on Sephora are completely inaccurate... it's more a light, neutral pink. SO pretty. As much as I love Dior lipstick's formulation... I cannot justify the price >.< I feel like there are so many great and affordable lip products out there that I don't need to spend $31 for a lipstick. Maybe in the future when I'm rich or something XD

2. Dior Addict Extreme Lipstick in Plaza
 photo 7_zps48276589.png
Also saw this on Lisa Eldrige. It was a really long time ago so I can't remember which video it was. But it's this very beautiful bright, but not saturated pink color. Gahhh why so expensive!!! With that price I can almost buy a foundation -__-""

3.  Dolce & Gabbana The Eyeshadow Smooth Eye Colour Quad
 photo 8_zps96e25ae6.png
Been lusting after this for a while but... I can't bring myself to purchase this yet. But I shall collect this for sure when I'm much older ahahah XD

4. Laura Mercier Fresh Fig Bath & Body Hand Creme

 photo 5_zps9fd40e11.png
I've become more interested in LM's body care since Tanya Burr kept mentioning how wonderful her products are and how amazing they smell... but... I still have hand creams and body lotions. This will be such a splurge too. So again, will save them for when I'm older lol.

5. PeterThomasRoth Max Complexion Correction Pads
 photo 4_zpsb6f3ca1b.png
I have heard Raeview mention this product numerous times so it's getting to me lol! I mostly want it because according to Rae it helps keep blackheads in check. Even though I'm tempted... I don't think my skin responds that well to acid products... usually it just peels and that's it (so if that's all it does I might as well just squeeze out my blackheads you know =_=). Sometimes I even notice with acid products it makes my skin produce even more oil/blackheads because it's aggravated?! No idea... honestly I feel like my blackheads do better when they're left alone without me attempting any treatments on them haha. Anyone tried this???

6. Givenchy Fluid Foundation Airy-Light Mat Radiance foundation

 photo 1-1_zpsc10f5c1e.png

Hehe this will be the next foundation I'm planning to purchase after my YSL Touche Eclat. I've sold almost all of my foundations now (which is quite a feat)... not because I don't like them, but I just realized I've only been reaching for my YSL. I'm about 1/4 way through my YSL TE foundation now ^_^ But I'm thinking about switching to BB creams for the summer. I figure I'll have enough foundation left until the next Sephora friends and family sale LMAO. But truth be told YSL TE is just such a dream to work with and gives such beautiful results I can't really imagine not having it >.<

7. Dolce & Gabbana The Perfect Luminous Liquid Foundation

 photo 2-1_zps058c2b78.png
Simply lusting after it because of Scarlett Johansson and the designer name. XD Don't think I'll ever buy it until I've actually seen the real thing though. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

8. Dolce & Gabbana Perfect Matte Liquid Foundation
 photo 3_zps2ad972ae.png
I usually prefer a luminous foundation but nowadays matte foundations are so well-formulated they still have a subtle glow to it even if the finish is matte. Honestly I can lust after anything with the word "foundation" on it XD By the way what's with the price difference though?! This one is ridiculously more expensive than the luminous one. Also I hate it when they have different coloring/naming for the shades... why can't they just make it easier for the consumers?!

That's all I have to share today! What did you all buy from the Chic Week sale?? I'm excited to be reading some hauls ^_^

Before I go, just thought I might share a couple of pics with you all. Went to DC the other day for the cherry blossoms. ^_^
 photo SAM_0064_zps4916540e.jpg

 photo SAM_0092_zps7500970e.jpg
The flowers were BEAUTIFUL but man it was SO crowded. If I want to admire cherry blossoms again I prob wouldn't choose to go to DC again... I'd prob go somewhere else. But anyway, hopefully seeing pretty flowers will lift your mood just like it did mine ^_^

Have a wonderful weekend guys <3 br="">

LA LA LA LA LA

Lol you know when you see a title like this, it's gonna be another one of those random + long ass post XD

The weather was gorgeous today so I actually got some photos done ^_^ I'm just gonna skip ahead with all my rambling intro and just share with you guys some of the new things I got, and some things I've been liking :)

Since my new year's resolution (where I had sworn off Forever 21) I haven't bought a single piece of clothing LMAO. Gosh this is so pathetic (branching out epic FAIL...) Seriously though I really don't know where I can buy nice and affordable clothes =/ or maybe I should just save it so I can splurge the next time I go back to Taiwan. But anyway spot these scarves from Aldo and was in love ^_^

First is this scarf with those little birds ^_^
SAM_3732_zps4c1773dd
Was just looking back at my other more recent posts and realized the last time I posted a selfie I had short and straight bangs -_- dang.

SAM_3737_zps5148581d
You can find it here.

SAM_3736_zpsd9648d2d
Little birdies~~~ take a wing~~~ *sings* (what? LOL) I really like this kind of muted, almost dirty pink? ^_^

SAM_3733_zpse3d52047
I feel like this is almost more of a hipster style of scarf... and hipster isn't really something I've ever ventured into (can't pull it off LOL)

SAM_3734_zps149f406d

The other scarf I got was this seemingly ordinary brown-ish... almost muddy-colored scarf...
SAM_3738_zpsec9a9fcd

SAM_3743_zps94c15de5

But when you lay it out... it actually has vultures and skull prints!!!
SAM_3745_zpse7e8c0c8
Isn't it so cool?!?!?! I love it!!! Especially love when the weather is gloomy =P

SAM_3739_zps4a27f607

SAM_3741_zps23a08dd2
These scarves are so fluffy >_< the thickness I think is perfect for transitioning into Spring.

Also took advantage of spring break and went to an outlet...

Got a man's shirt from Tommy Hilfiger XDXDXD
SAM_3790_zpsbbae9172

SAM_3791_zpsee0ff522

Friends: Are you serious about this??? It's a guy's shirt!
Me: Who cares >_< I don't care if it's men's or women's wear as long as it looks good!
Friends: It's SO big!
Me: It's my style >_<
Friend: Oh yeah it totally is... hmmm it actually kind of looks like pajamas
Me: Are you saying pajamas is my style  ( ̄ε(# ̄) o==( ̄▽ ̄)>

Lol seriously though... ppl do associate me with pajamas ;; _ ;;  cuz I'm always in over-sized anything... hahaha.

SAM_3775_zps3f19536b
It's a men's medium. It's HUGE lol. Don't mind my hair sticking out... it's been very static-y  hahaha

SAM_3784_zps1f83c0bc

This "pajama" actually costs $32  =___= so expensive for outlet (it's 50% off). My friends kept trying to talk me out of it... but I don't know there's something about it I just really like >_< plus it's so soft and comfyyyy AND thick AND WARM.

SAM_3774_zpsa62ec786
Completely love how it has a number on the back ^_^  Hopefully ppl wouldn't look at me weird at school XD

Also went to The Cosmetic Company and got a Bobbi Brown soothing cleansing oil. Actually quite proud of myself for stepping out of that place with only one item... I wanted to get Bobbi Brown loose powder and some discontinued Bobbi Brown blushes and MAC eye shadows but in the end decided I shouldn't >_< (actually my friends stopped me LOL they're keepers ahahahaha)
SAM_3810_zpsfaa3d0a8

SAM_3812_zps6a4313b4
LOL did anyone else find it funny that it has Korean on it? The sales ppl told me it's probably been shipped to Korea but just didn't end up selling that's why it ended up in the outlet.

While I was at the Cosmetic Company outlet I saw a TON of limited edition MAC products... they have the go-to-the-beach (????) collection, the sailor's collection, and even the Disney collection!!! I thought those were history.

On a complete random and beauty-irrelevant note... while I was at the outlet I got me some ceramic frying pans XD Which I'm completely overly excited about LOLOL. My good old frying pan needs to retire... since the non-stick coating has been coming off T_T may it rest in peace.
SAM_3807_zpsa2e07fec
Never tried ceramic pans before, hopefully they're good!

Also got a Mandoline slicer ^_^ been wanting one ever since I saw Julia from MissChievous rocking her mandoline slicer. Cutting veggies can be such a pain sometimes. Really excited for this ^_^

PS: Every time I see "Sharper Image"  I automatically think about Sex and the City... Samantha and her "vibrator" XDDD

Have been trying out new mascaras too.

Za Impact Lash Mascara (volume) and mascara base

SAM_3710_zps771a73b7
Mascara + pimer

Not bad :) and it doesn't smudge XD I wouldn't mind repurchasing, but I think I still prefer Majolica Majorca since Za sometimes can get a little clumpy (also I like MJ for the comb applicator).

Remember a while ago I mentioned how I didn't care for the Revlon balm stains? I have changed my mind XD I'm beginning to appreciate the beauty of lip stains XD now I'm used to lip stains, I realized they last so much longer (duh) AND most importantly, they don't get on your teeth XD

Now I have collected 5 of the Revlon's balm stains ^_^

From left to right: Romantic, Crush, Rendezvous, Lovesick, Honey.

Anyway now I totally love these lip stains XD And I've been loving "Lovesick" for my recent everyday go-to look ^_^

I like to just apply it to the center of my lips and fade it out. Completely digging the gradient lip ^_^
I only like Lovesick on the center of my lips... don't like it all over my lips XD

SAM_3728_zps04c7e7b1
Just simple, level, overly dragged out, dramatic eyeliner XD with a pop of color on my lips.
I realize I haven't done a cat-eye in forever @_@ I prefer a straight eyeliner now :P

Now onto other things I've been enjoying... Curel body lotion =D
SAM_3792_zps0d556dd6
Finally a body lotion that actually works =D I recommend! And it's cheap too XD All I'm looking for in a body lotion is that I wouldn't have to feel like I need to reapply within like 5 minutes... that's not too much to ask for right? But somehow none of the body lotions I used in the past (expensive or cheap) even fulfill that one expectation. Very happy that I tried this.

Another drugstore item I've been really liking-- "Clear" shampoo
SAM_3793_zpseb1ef03d
Most of you guys might have heard about this brand from Hollyannaeree (I really can't remember where she mentioned it??? I think it's from her Instagram). I am SO glad that she recommended it, cuz I've been really liking it! If you read my last post you'll know that ever since I started using Aveda I hadn't been able to use drugstore shampoos due to residue. Of course I haven't used this long enough to be able to tell, but 3 days into using this shampoo I noticed the ends of my hair have become less dry, more soft, and my hair in general just feel so much softer. Pretty amazing!!! And I'm only using the shampoo too ^_^ Unfortunately still trying to use up my other Aveda shampoo (been alternating between Clear and Aveda) and this other Asian brand conditioner, but I cannot wait to try using both the shampoo and the conditioner ^___^

Some other new items I got:
Revlon lustrous lipsticks in Kiss Me Coral and Pink In The Afternoon.

Picked them up after seeing Bubbi mention it in her favorites video ^_^

The other day while I was passing Macy's on my way out... I spot in the display the Marc Jacobs' Daisy makeup bag O_____________O I thought the makeup bag is SO FREAKING CUTE!!!!

SAM_3751_zps528f7062
The promotion is that you buy the large size perfume, you get a makeup bag and a roller perfume for free (but the sales associate sneaked a mini Daisy perfume in for me ^_^)

SAM_3753_zps9689189f
Honestly I still kind of can't believe that I bought a large size perfume because of the makeup bag O_O
I don't even think I will be able to bring myself to use it.. I don't want it to get dirty >_<
SAM_3754_zps48f0987d
No pockets or anything on the inside, just a very simple basic bag.

So now I have two Marc Jacobs perfume O_O two perfumes in less than 6 months... now perfumes are officially on my ban list as well.
SAM_3768_zps73733e20
Truth be told I prefer Dot :P I think Dot is more me. Daisy smells amazing too but I think Daisy smells better in the bottle than on me XD sad hahaha. I'm determined to use Daisy for the entire spring and summer!!! This is the largest bottle of perfume I've ever owned O_O (and the most I've ever spent on a perfume X_X) Apparently there's a new Daisy Sunshine too?! Really curious what that one smells like.

Daisy is described as:

Notes:
Strawberry, Violet Leaves, Ruby Red Grapefruit, Gardenia, Violet Petals, Jasmine Petals, Musk, Vanilla, White Woods.

Style:
Bright. Alluring. Eternal.

I personally would describe it as refreshing, sweet... and for some reason reminds me a bit of lychee?!?!!??

SAM_3761_zps21e94f30
Hmmmm... smells so good from the bottle!

SAM_3757_zps2398965f
Look at the mini!!! when my friends and I unboxed it we all screamed >_< it's just too too toooo adorable!!!!

And congratulations you've reached the end of the post XD last thing to share... I opened up a bunch of new blushes LMAO. I've had these for a while (they were for my online shop, but since I never did sell them =P hehehehehhe)

SAM_3822_zpsdd605d99
Blushes from Canmake, CandyDoll, and Melliesh.

SAM_3825_zps13ce36c6
Really liking the Canmake blush/highlighter! This is by far the only peachy cheek color I can safely use. I said that because most peachy cheek colors tend to make me look flushed... and not in a good way. Kind of like I've been sun-burned kind of flushed XD I actually realize I don't own that many pink blushes prior to these three... I only had two-- one from Etude House and one from Benefit. Quite shocking right? lol. Been really into pink blushes too =P

Okay that's all folks! Yes you can safely assume you probably won't be seeing any update from me again anytime soon LMAO. I wish everyone a very lovely weekend, and as always, thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my blog ^_^
