Spice up your eyeliner looks! PART II

Yo yo yo here comes part deux =D

3. Little eyeliner, lots of lash look (I know I know I'm so lame XD need to be more creative but I'm so lazy hahaha)

Photobucket

So I noticed most of my followers are very young... I think this is the perfect eye look for you guys =)
Sometimes less is more. You really don't need to put on a bunch on eyeliner to make your eyes stand out.
Map:
Photobucket
So basically I only tight-lined the upper lash line. Make sure you fill in the gaps between your lashes well since you're not lining your eyes. The reason why I only tight-lined and did not add any upper eyeliner is because I want to make my lashes stand out. If I have lined my upper eyelid, then the dark liner wouldn't allow my eyelashes to show as well-- They wouldn't look as long.
Extend the eyeliner a bit further and draw a slight cat eye. Note how I didn't bring the eyeliner all the way down to the corner of the eye this time. This is because I want the angle of that cat-eye flick so that it blends in with your lashes.  For this look feel free to add lots of mascara to your eyes XD I have two coats of mascara on the upper lashes, and three coats on the bottom (if you know me in person you know that I basically have NO bottom lashes at all haha). And I always prime my lashes before I apply mascara.
*** If your bottom lashes didn't come out the way you wanted it (like weird angles) you can always adjust them by using a tweezer!!!!

4. Partial Cat-Eye?!
Photobucket
This is so pretty :) See how her upper liner only starts toward the last 1/3 of the eye?
I thought this application is pretty smart cuz you can have that thick, dramatic cat eye, but at the same time it leaves your lid clean, making the lid space look wider, as well as emphasizing the natural fold of your eye :)

Map:
Photobucket
1. Tight line the upper lash line
2. Extend the upper liner all the way pass the corner of the eye
3. Thicken the 1/3 upper liner and draw a cat eye
4. From the flick of the cat eye, extend toward inner corner to line the bottom lash line. Make sure the line is thicker on the outer corner and thinner/only on waterline on the inner corner
5. Since the outer cat eye is quite thick, I applied some brown eye shadow over my folds to emphasize them, so the folds of my eyes are not overpowered by the eyeliner.

Photobucket
It's important t apply the brown eye shadow over your folds/crease to make them stand out more ^-^
Photobucket

5. Puppy-eye/Tear-drop Eye
Photobucket
Not sure why it's called tear-drop eye but that's what it says on the mag XD

Here's the map from the mag:
Photobucket

I'm including my own map anyway lol...
Photobucket
For this look, make sure the upper liner extends all the way pass the corner of the eye as well. Make sure the lower corner is thicker.
This kind of application looks very similar to the #1 regular eyeliner look on me XD Well for those who have a different eye shape from mine, it'd prob produce a nicer effect :P
Photobucket
Of course you can add lashes that'd make the effect even better... but I'm tired and lazy >.<

Photobucket

Okay guys... that's it for part 2. I think I do have a part 3 coming up as well XD

By the way I made a new header ^__^ I didn't realize I could do that until I saw some other bloggers doing it XD it's very roughly made cuz I SUCK at photoshop T_T... gonna touch up on it later I guess??? You guys like it?? ^-^

Okay I'm off to take a nap... had 9 hours of sleep in the past two days O__O      byeeeeee =)

School dance look!?

Not sure how to name this... XD

I was gonna post this a while back but I got busy... -___-... but here it is!

So long long time ago, in a far away land.... oh wait, I'm not telling a story huh XD *kicks fly herself*
*coughs* anyways, there was a ball for all the seniors at my university *smiles* where...... there was unlimited supply of chocolate fondue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Photobucket

XDD sorry guys... got a little bit too excited thinking about chocolate fondue >__< I want some now!! aghh!

Anywayyyy

Outfit for the ball: Dress I got from Forever 21, black cardigan I got from Banana Republic, and white heels I got from Guess (Everything I got on sale except for the dress.... haha I'm not made of money).

Photobucket
The flowery dress =) I think this is soo cute. As you can see it's quite short and the bottom is poofy and round =)

Photobucket
The cardigan... Think I got it for less than $15... lol. Have this for a while can't remember.
Photobucket
The Guess heels =) I think I got them for $20?

Photobucket
Love this design!!!

Unfortunately I only have one picture of full-length shot...

Photobucket
Um... you guys can just ignore me... dunno why I was staring at the tulips looking like I was deep in thoughts =__=
And yeah I'm short... very short... *cries*

Bathroom shots! XD umm.... yeah

Photobucket

Photobucket
I looked wayyy too happy XD think must be from all that chocolate.... keekee

Photobucket
With my friend Lei. Love her dress!
Photobucket
I did her hair and makeup =) We were in a hurry so didn't have time to take more detailed pic of her makeup... sad. The hair I basically just leave out a few strands around her face and curl them to frame around her face, and pulled up the rest of her hair into a bun (which was hard cuz her hair was kind of short lol!) to go with her elegant dress =) Think I could've done a better job... but we were running late =(

Photobucket

K I'm off to clean my room XD Talk to you guys later!

"睜一隻眼閉一隻眼" by Jolin Tsai (蔡依林)

I love both of the looks in there! But I was going for this =)

And of course there's no way for me to find the same thing :*( sadness

I hunted for so long before I found something somewhat similar:

Photobucket
I used to have a pair of green jeans but I can't find them anywhere O__o??? so... just regular jeans.

I ended up changing... because... I was too lazy to hold my breath and tuck my tummy in for the whole night XDDDD
...................... yeah -___-;;;     I was literally not breathing when I took these pics... hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

So I decided to be good and cover myself up hahaha

Photobucket

Ended up doing military/camouflage look lol. Camouflage hat+jacket+black top+ jeans. Pretty simple :)

Photobucket
ps. You can totally see the clothes I was going through XDD I'm very indecisive... blah!

Close-up on my eyes...
Photobucket

Photobucket

I'm just wearing Bobbi Brown Cream Shadow in Galaxy...  on the website it says it's a shimmery silver eyeshadow... but I think it has a little taupey undertone?? I love this color :) I think it goes with everything.
Photobucket

That's it =)

Thanks for reading!

Spice up your eyeliner looks! PART I

Hey everyone!

There are many ways you can play with your eyeliner; you can use different colors, add glitter, etc. But the easiest way to spice up your looks would be altering your eyeliner shape :) your eyes are the main focus of your face, it does 100% communication ;) Did you find yourself doing your eyeliner the same way every day? If you did, check this out :D

I sum up with a few ways how you can do your eyeliner :)

1. Regular eye

Photobucket
A plain eyeliner look. It's basically drawing around/framing your eyes XD

Photobucket
Now, because of the nature of my fold, I don't start my eyeliner at the very inner corner (although I do tightline). I start around where my pupil is/where the space between the fold is wider. The reason I don't line all the way in is because the dark colors in the small lid space tend to weigh my lids down, closing my eyes down, and you actually cannot achieve a bigger eye effect. I keep the eyeliner very thin until I hit where the second line is indicated. This is when I start to thicken the line up. The line gets thicker and thick as you work toward the outer corner. Drag the top liner all the way down to the outer lower corner of your eye. For lower liner I don't draw it all the way in either cuz that'll close my eyes up as well. Thicken the outer corner on lower liner if you want a more puppy-eye effect. The red dots part is just where you can apply white shimmery eyeshadow to open your eyes even more. I usually leave my waterline alone cuz filling in my waterline actually makes my eyes look smaller.

Photobucket
Excuse my hair/tired face... did this after 8 hours on campus O__O

2. Cat-eye

Photobucket
(Picture from ViVi... don't know who the model is though)

I saw this and I was like oh my gosh this is the prettiest cat-eye ever :D

Map:
Photobucket
Same principles apply to this eye... to lazy to type it all out again XD Now for this look I don't extend the eyeliner from the top liner, instead, I extend the lower eyeliner to draw a flick. Then I join the lower liner to the upper liner, filling in the space in between for a triangular shape.

Photobucket
ps. I'm using the Buxom eyeliner gel. See what I mean about the glitter? it's pretty uneven.
Photobucket
The model's lower liner goes all the way in... you can do that if you wish :)

 3. Bright middle eye

Photobucket
I saw this and I went ooohhhh =D

Photobucket
See how they both don't have any dark liner in the middle part? This eyeliner look gives you a brighter look :)

Map:
Photobucket
I'm gonna explain this in steps lol.

1. Line your upper eye (using the same principles for the regular liner look)
2. Rim your waterline and waterline only on the bottom inner corner and outer corner, leaving the middle part alone. The width should be the size of your pupil. (Refer to red parts)
2. Take some dark brown eye (I mixed brown with black) and add them under the waterline where you lined. blend them a little. Touch up on your black liner on your waterline if you need (see blue parts).
3. Add some dark brown eye shadow to smudge out the outer upper liner as well (see blue parts).
4. Add some white shimmery eye shadow to the middle (see yellow part).
5. You can add cat-eye if you wish of course :)

Photobucket
This makes your eyes appear brighter *^_^*
Photobucket
Errr.. I was lying on my stuffed animal cuz I was super tired... sorry sorry hahaha.

That's it for the first part... PART II will come up soon :) hope you guys found this helpful :)

Have a beautiful day!!!
